1995 1st International Festival in Riva del Garda
In the competition at Riva del Garda on June 23, 1995: before a jury made up of choir masters, the Serenissima placed third in the category at the 1st International Festival for jazz choirs and folk groups.
1992 Gold Lion
The second place at the Leone d’oro in 1992 was obtained with “Cuor e Chitarra” (Bianchini), sung with the soloist Tullio Rosa, on the evening of July 19, 1992 in Piazza San Marco. The choir competed for the prise “Gold Lion” at the eighth Venetian Song Festival.
1990 1st European Prize for Regional Culture
In 1990 the choir received the 1st European Prize for regional culture through the EEC Officials Association.
1989 Gold Lion
The fourth edition of the Golden Gala of the Leone d’Oro, held on 19 May 1989 at the Goldoni theater, was awarded 12 awards by a special jury for music, entertainment and sport. The Municipal Councilor Ugo Bergamo handed the golden lion for dialectal research into the hands of Maestro Cartago for the Serenissima Choir.
1987 Festival of the Venetian and Italian Song – Gold disk award
On April 9, 1987 the Serenissima was awarded the “Disco d’oro” for the first place with the song “La Buranella” at the Second Venice and Italian Song Festival at the Corso Theater in Mestre.
