The Fire Night

On January 29, 1996 a fire destroyed the “Golden Favor”, La Fenice Theater. Propagated in the night, the flames reduced the theatre to ashes for the second time in its history after 1836. M ° Cartago, like all Venetians and lovers of Venice in general, was taken by the emotion that generated “Notes de Fogo ”, probably the most important of all his songs. (…)
The Choir will perform “Note de Fogo” for the first time on March 21, 1997 and on June 1 of that year.
they sang in Campo San Fantin, in front of the half-destroyed Theater (…)
For the reconstruction of the Phoenix it will take 7 years, and the inauguration will take place on December 14, 2003,
with a concert conducted by Maestro Riccardo Muti, where will also be Mingardo among the vocal soloists.
